Top 5 Services I use!

When running your own business, there are many applications that we can choose from when it comes to designing, planning, payments, and helping us to run the entire operation. It can look different for each photographer, but here's a few of my top favorites to use daily:

1. I think without saying, to run a business, I use social media platforms! Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and my website to be easy to reach new people and have my work shown for anyone to be able to reach out if they like my personal style. It allows me to contact and connect with my clients and to get to know them personally!

2. Preview: I love this application because as a mama and no definite “office hours” I can't at the drop of a hat stop what my personal life has going to sit pick a photo, write a caption, choose hashtags, interact with social media, and post to my stories each time I want to share something. My son doesn't

sit still for anything, we are moving and running around outside. However, after being introduced to this app, it helped me tremendously! It allows me to upload as many photos, reels, or stories and appoint a time to post them so that I don't have to stress about taking time away from my little one.

It also grants me to write out my captions and hashtags, which can sometimes take me the longest to-do. To many times before getting this app I was distracted while posting and misspelled things, posted before I was ready, only to later look at the post and find several issues with it, or I would forget to tag people!! Thanks to preview, I now get the luxury to pre-plan all my content during Skyler’s naps so that I can focus on him while he's awake.

3. Canva: When using social media, creating a templet and choosing a specific look for all your stories, posts or any other types of advertisements, it is vital to set yourself apart from others in the

same industry. It will also help to have clients recognize your brand when it pops up. I have turned to Canva to help my content to stand out from the standard color backgrounds.

4. Lightroom and Photoshop: the majority of photographers use these two platforms, Lightroom for managing the specific style of the

photographer. Photoshop allows us to remove or adjust any photo that might have distracting components and manipulate the image to produce a more appealing photo.

5. Pass is how I've delivered my galleries to my clients. I find it to be easy to navigate and love that clients can purchase high-quality photos through the site as well.
